01

Who controls the data

Daber operates as an independent project. For access, correction, deletion, consent withdrawal, or other privacy requests, contact privacy@daber.granot.io.

02

What stays on your computer

Recordings, transcripts, polished text, and dictation history remain on your computer. Daber has no user account or cloud-history sync.

The Ivrit.ai model downloads to your computer and runs locally. The app does not collect screenshots, surrounding document text, or clipboard history.

03

Optional text cleanup

Smart cleanup is unavailable unless you configure an OpenRouter key. When enabled, transcript text is sent to the model selected through your OpenRouter account. Audio is not sent. That use is subject to OpenRouter and model-provider policies.

04

Mobile notification list

If you join through the website, we store your email address, form language, form source, consent version, and signup time. Providing it is optional; without it, we cannot send the launch notification.

We use the record only to announce Daber for iPhone or Android. We do not sell it or use it for targeted advertising. It remains in Daber’s xhost Postgres database until you withdraw, or 90 days after the last mobile launch notification, whichever comes first.

  • You may request a copy, correction, or deletion.
  • You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • The form is not intended for anyone under 16 without parent or guardian permission.
05

Website and analytics

xhost processes technical request data needed to serve and protect the site. Marketing analytics is off by default. If enabled, Daber sends PostHog EU only allowlisted events such as a page view or download click; it does not send form values, dictated text, or recordings.

06

Security, rights, and changes

We minimize collection, restrict access, and keep app history separate from the email list. No system is completely secure.

Contact privacy@daber.granot.io to exercise rights available under applicable law. If this policy changes materially, we will update the date and give clear notice before using data for a new purpose.

These documents reflect the product’s current behavior. Before a broad public launch, obtain legal review of controller identity, governing law, and contact details.
